Invoices, payment links and patient balances. Payments show up in the patient's thread.
- Create an invoice from an appointment, with line items and the patient's balance.
- One payment link per invoice. Sending a new link cancels the old one, so a patient cannot pay twice.
- Payment status shows up in the patient's conversation, where your team already is.
- Amounts are stored in cents with the currency recorded. Payments can be added but never changed. Anything that does not add up is flagged for a person to look at.
Off by default. Payment notifications still come through even if the switch is off.
Card details never reach PractoSA. Payment is handled by a payment provider.
Invoices and payment links work against a test payment provider. Connecting a live provider is the next step. Medical aid claims and pushing invoices into practice-management software are not available, and we do not sell them.
